Sending Files

Please email all ads, art files and photos to both of these email address.  This duplicity helps reduce lost emails.

We accept the following ad formats:

• unlocked PDFs with embedded fonts,
• .EPS,
• .TIF and
• High Res JPEG (200 dpi)

All files need to be in CMYK color mode. (Please do not send RGB images)

200 dpi is the best resolution setting.

Preview these guidlines prior to making your final PDF:

• Making a compatible PDF from InDesign
• Making a compatible PDF from Quark 6
• Making a compatible PDF from Quark 7

Caution to Photoshop users:  Photoshop defaults to a mix color for its black.  Therefore all your text will be a blend of C (cyan) M (magenta) Y (yellow) and K (black).  Because of newsprint color registration, text with this type of mix will not look clear.  Make sure the color of your text is K (black) only.

Files made in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Publisher are not acceptable for print.
