Barbara K. Singarella Obituary

Barbara K. Singarella, 89 of St. Joseph passed away on April 23, 2025 surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at New Freedom Church, 6210 Mountain Road, in Coloma on Tuesday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to New Freedom Church or the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Barbara was born October 12, 1935 in Hunter, Ark. to Charles Stonger and Luella (Erwin) Morton. She was a member of New Freedom Church in Coloma and loved her church family. She was willing to share her faith with anyone she met. Barbara loved animals, especially cats, and was known to keep food in her car to feed the strays. Above all, Barbara loved Jesus. Even in failing health, her faith never wavered and she never tired of praising her Savior.

Barbara is survived by her children Roy (Linda) Vondran of Mountain Home, Ark., Michael (Betty) Vondran of Wauwatosa, Wis., Sondra (Rick) McAndrew of St. Joseph and Neomi Schaffer of Ariz.; her sister Darlene Hamilton of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Tony Singarella; sisters Alice Joy Stonger and Betty Terrice and brother Stanley Stonger.
