Cynthia Case Obituary

Cynthia Case, 89, of Watervliet, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at her home.

Cynthia’s Memorial Service will take place Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10:30 A.M., at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Rev. Tom Stone, officiating. Cynthia was born October 12, 1936, in Benton Harbor, MI, to Daniel and Dorothy (Morse) Green. She was raised by her Grandma Minerva and returned to Michigan for high school where she graduated from St. Joseph. Cynthia fell in love and married Morton “Mac” Case, in 1955, and they enjoyed raising their two beautiful children – Daniel and Catherine. Later in life, she moved to Naples, Florida and worked as an office manager for Allied Crane. She was a basketball fan that loved to watch and, play as a girl. Cynthia’s greatest joy was being with family and friends which, included her long - time partner Richard Simecek. Cynthia could also be found motorcycle riding, boating and sewing.

She will be missed by her daughter - Catherine Case-Bradley, son-in-law – John Fazzone; and 7 great- grandchildren.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her son – Daniel Case, May 16, 2020; parents - Daniel and Dorothy Green; partner - Richard Simecek, December 28, 2001, and her sister – Judith Miller.
