Henry Leo Krueger Obituary

Henry Leo Krueger, 77, of Three Oaks, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Born on September 18, 1948, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Henry grew into a family man, an entrepreneur, and a hobbyist, who lived life to the fullest.

On September 30, 1967, Henry married Christine Ann Snow, the love of his life. Together they shared more than 58 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered around love, hard work, family, and laughter. He always put his family first and worked tirelessly to provide for those he loved. Known for his generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need, Henry could always be counted on to lend a hand, offer support whenever it was needed, and fix just about anything — even if it “wasn’t quite to code.”

Henry had a passion for firearms and fireworks, and he never needed a special occasion to light up the sky for family and friends. His larger-than-life personality, sense of humor, and kind spirit made him deeply loved by all who knew him.

Being a self-made man with a passion to learn new things led him to become the proud co-owner of Cut-Tech Tool and Die, where he dedicated many years of hard work and craftsmanship.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; his children, Shani Kavanaugh of Saint Joseph, Michigan, Sean and Jackie Krueger of Chesterton, Indiana, Shannon Krueger of Three Oaks, Michigan, and Julia Shepherd of Sydney, Australia; his six grandchildren, Ryan and Devin Kavanaugh, Kyleigh LePinske, Olivia Krueger, Abigail Krueger, and Levi Shepherd, and sister Rebecca Krueger along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Luella (Barbee), and sisters, Jaunita, Laura, and Patricia.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Maple Grove United Methodist Church. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, followed by a memorial service at 4:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to stay from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to share a meal and memories in honor of Henry’s life.

Henry will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Please share a memory with the family through the online guestbook at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services. (https://www.starksfamilyfh.com/locations/st-joseph)
