Leonard was born April 30, 1920 in Eau Claire to Daniel & Rosalie (Froehlich) Frank.  On June 10, 1944 he married the former Idajane “Jane” Little in Niles, Michigan.  Together they owned and operated Frank Farms in Berrien Center.  Leonard was still very active in the daily operations until very recently.  He was a member and former board of director for Silver Mill Frozen Foods, & Eau Claire Fruit Exchange.  He was a member of Farm Bureau Co-op and a founding member of Michiana Beagle Club.  Leonard knew his business well.  He knew just how long each job should take and was able to diagnosis problems with his equipment just by listening.  He was an avid pheasant hunter and loved his dogs & Arabian horses.  Leonard was a very generous man who never met a stranger.  He enjoyed visiting with his many, many friends. His family was his greatest legacy.

Leonard is survived by his wife Jane; his children-Carole (Jim) Sousa of Vacaville, CA, Steve Frank (Cindysue Beck) of Berrien Center; numerous grand & great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son Rollin Leonard Frank on April 8, 1961, and by siblings-Rude, Herman & Daniel Frank, Jr., Linda Herman, Alvina Marks & Elsie Pullins.
