The 2015 Bud Prince & Princess Blossomtime Pageant
Forty children between the ages of 6 and 9 competed Sunday November 2nd for the title of the Blossomtime Bud Prince and Princess. The pageant was held at the St Joseph High School Auditorium in front of a large audience. Tying into the 2015 Blossomtime Theme; “Rhyme Time with Blossomtime”, the Bud Pageant was set to a colorful children’s all time favorite nursery rhyme, “Three Little Kittens Who Lost their Mittens”. All 40 children performed a dance choreographed by Cammie Hernandez of Connie Cassidy School of Dance. Chairmen, DeAnn Zindler created a beautiful stage and show. The pageant was emceed by Mid-West Family broadcasting personality Wild Bill and Lindsay Zvonar. This was Wild Bill and Lindsay’s first year behind the podium for this event.
The Blossomtime Festival Bud Prince and Princess will take an active role in the Festival by serving as Grand Marshals of the Youth Parade and Shoe Box Parade, and will participate in many other Blossomtime events, including the Coronation Ball, the Blessing of the Blossoms, attending many community pageants and being introduced on stage at the Miss Blossomtime Pageant March 9, 2014
