2026 Benefit Car Show

The Berrien County Firefighters Association and the Berrien County Sheriff's Office were proud to partner in hosting the 2026 Benefit Car Show on June 27th at St. Joseph Charter Township's Maiden Lane Community Park. Thanks to the tremendous support of our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who attended, the event was a great success.
On Wednesday, August 5th, Sheriff Chuck Heit was presented with a $10,000 check representing the Sheriff’s Office share of the proceeds. These funds will be equally divided between the Sheriff's Office Mounted Unit and Reserve Unit. Both units are comprised of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time to serve our community, and these funds will help provide essential training and equipment to ensure they remain prepared to support our mission of keeping Berrien County safe.
The Berrien County Firefighters Association will use its portion of the proceeds to provide firefighter training and maintain the association's burn trailer, an invaluable resource for hands-on fire training throughout the county. They also continue to operate the Fire Education Center at the Berrien County Youth Fair, helping educate children and families about fire prevention and safety each year.
This event is a great example of what can be accomplished when public safety agencies work together for the benefit of our community. We sincerely thank everyone who supported the Benefit Car Show and helped make it such a success. Your generosity directly supports the men and women who serve Berrien County and strengthens the public safety services we provide every day.
