City of Benton Harbor Debuts Its Year in Review Magazine
The City of Benton Harbor has released Review: A Year in Review, a magazine reflecting on the City’s progress, projects, services, partnerships, and investments over the past year.
Created as a resource for residents and community partners, the magazine provides an overview of the work taking place throughout Benton Harbor and the priorities guiding the City’s path forward.

“Review: A Year in Review was created to reflect on the progress made over the past year and to share how the City has continued working toward a stronger, more connected community,” said City Manager Alex Little. “It is our opportunity to look back with transparency and look ahead with purpose, highlighting the projects, initiatives, and partnerships that have shaped Benton Harbor throughout the year.”
The magazine is organized into five sections: Laying the Foundation, Rebuilding Benton Harbor, Serving the Community, Investing in Opportunity, and Moving Forward Together.
Readers will find updates on City leadership and priorities; infrastructure improvements to streets, public buildings, and shared spaces; programs and partnerships serving residents and neighborhoods; economic development efforts; and the City’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and accountability.

“While challenges remain, the work highlighted here reflects thoughtful planning, collaboration, and a shared dedication to meeting the needs of our community,” Little said. “We hope residents see both the progress that has been made and the potential that lies ahead.”
The City thanks the residents, staff, partners, and stakeholders who continue to contribute to Benton Harbor’s growth. Review: A Year in Review is available now at bhcity.us/yearinreview.
