On January 8, 2014 at approximately 2:20 PM, the Benton Twp. PD responded to a call of a bank robbery at the Horizon Bank located at 1041 E. Napier Ave., Benton Township.  A male subject wearing a white or gray hooded sweatshirt passed a note to a bank teller but then fled the bank on foot southbound towards M-139 Hwy., Benton Township.  The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6’ tall, medium build, and wearing glasses.
