CRIME STOPPERS CRIME OF THE WEEK January 26, 2015
This is D/Sgt. Fred Laesch of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department for Crime Stoppers. The crime of the week comes from the files of the Michigan State Police.
On January 25, 2015 at approximately 11:24 am, the Michigan State Police was dispatched to the intersection of US Hwy. 12 and Hoder Rd., in New Buffalo Township after a deceased body was located on the right of way of the railroad tracks. The unknown victim is a black female, approximately 30-40 years old. At this time, no motive has been determined.
Crime Stoppers wants any information regarding this incident. If a felony crime is determined to have occurred, Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to a suspect arrest. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
