Deputy Casey Noack graduates from Corrections Academy

Sheriff Chuck Heit is proud to announce that Deputy Casey Noack graduated from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Academy on March 5, 2025.
This was Genesee Counties 37th local corrections academy. The academy consists of 160-hours of training. The training offers staff a comprehensive, interactive instruction program in various disciplines for local correction officers. Training topics include custody and security, defensive tactics, CPR, AED, and first aid training, suicide awareness, fire safety, and interpersonal communication. The academy is certified by the Michigan Sheriff’s Coordinating and Training Council and is an important element of providing the necessary skills for maintaining a safe, secure environment for corrections officers, inmates, and county residents.
Sheriff Heit would like to congratulate Deputy Noack on his hard work at the academy and stands beside all the dedicated members of the Sheriff’s Office to provide the best service to the Berrien County community.
