Family Farm & Home Helps TEC Raise Upton Foundation Matching Funds with Instore Carnival Thanksgiving Weekend
The Therapeutic Equestrian Center (TEC) would like to thank the Upton Foundation for awarding our organization a $5000 grant and an additional $2500 matching grant. These funds will be used to care for and feed our horses as well as help us provide scholarship money to families in need. To raise the $2500 in matching funds we will be partnering with Family Farm & Home (FF&H) in Benton Harbor to hold an in-store carnival on Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday November 29, 2014 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Participants will be able to bring their families to the store and visit different stations for face painting, donuts and cider, magic tricks by teen magician Noah Yardley, and learn more about what we do at TEC. To donate there will be paper horseshoes to fill out, and put on display at the big donor wall at the front of the store. You can give any amount from $5 and up to help match the funds. We will take checks, cash or you can add the donation to your purchases when you check out after your regular shopping at FF&H. We are thankful to FF&H who will be making a donation to our matching funds campaign. It promises to be a great day!
Therapeutic Equestrian Center is the only year-round therapeutic riding facility in the tri-county area. We provide the special needs men, women, and children in our area with year-round therapeutic horseback riding lessons and horse-related activities. Family Farm & Home is a family owned and operated company based out of Michigan and carries a wide variety of products in departments such as tools, hardware, automotive, pet, work and casual clothing, footwear, farm supplies, horse and livestock feed, bird food, lawn and garden, and alternative heating.
