Greater Bridgman Area Chamber & Growth Alliance Announces Annual Meeting Highlighting Achievements and Future Goals

 

The Greater Bridgman Area Chamber & Growth Alliance (Greater Bridgman CGA) is excited to share details on their 2024 Annual Meeting, to be held on Thursday, November 14th at Haymarket Taproom, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. and the presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will serve as an opportunity to celebrate the organization’s new direction and exciting momentum, share goals for 2025, and provide guests with an opportunity to enjoy good food and great company.

 

2024 has been a year of change for the Greater Bridgman CGA, including a full restructure of the organization, its board, and its goals, including the addition of a full-time Director. With all that said, the organization continues its mission to provide hyper-local chamber and economic development services to the community.

 

“This is a wonderful community with so much going for it and so much potential. I am certain there is great growth ahead for the businesses and residents of Bridgman and Lake Charter Township. We are working towards the future together and that’s how good things happen,” says Nancy Kiernan, Greater Bridgman CGA Director

 

Key achievements include: hiring Kiernan as CGA Director, the realignment of the City and Township on a number of goals, on-going compilation of a commercial property inventory, attainment of “engaged” status with the Redevelopment Ready Community program and numerous area promotion initiatives.

 

"As we look toward 2025, it’s clear that our collective efforts are laying a strong foundation for a vibrant future. The Greater Bridgman Area is full of promise, and together, we can drive meaningful change that benefits all members of our community. The annual meeting with be an opportunity to celebrate our progress and envision what lies ahead," says Arthur Havlicek, President & CEO of the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber.

 

Looking ahead to 2025 the Greater Bridgman CGA is committed to further bolstering the economic strength of the Greater Bridgman Area. The organizational goals for the year include continued business retention and attraction activities, development of subarea economic development plans and additional community celebration opportunities.

 

“This is an exciting time to be part of the Greater Bridgman CGA! We invite the community, members, businesses, and those interested in hearing what is happening in Bridgman and Lake Charter Township to purchase a ticket and attend," adds Marty Mason, Board Chair of the Bridgman CGA.
