Jason Hall Brings Slow Roll to Benton Harbor
Jason Hall Brings Slow Roll to Benton Harbor June 24
Jason Hall's bringing that Slow Roll Detroit energy to Benton Harbor on June 24 — and it’s the first time Slow Roll’s touched down in Southwest Michigan.
Here’s the preview of what’s going down:
The basics
Slow Roll is Jason Hall’s thing — a massive, community-first bike ride that started in Detroit and became a whole movement. Think 12 miles, slow pace, a large group of bicycle riders, music, and pure neighborhood vibes. This Benton Harbor debut is called the “West Coaster” and it’s co-hosted by the local Pachyderm Pedalers.
When + where
Tuesday, June 24, 2026. Ride kicks off in Benton Harbor — at The Livery. Gather at 6pm to enjoy the pre-ride vibe with DJ Nick May and a few words from Jason. It’s 12 miles, all ages (12 and older), any “body" on any bike. The whole point is “sloooooow,” so nobody gets left behind.
What makes this one special
- It’s Jason Hall himself leading — straight from Detroit, so his presence turns it into an event.
- It’s the first Benton Harbor edition, so expect extra community love. Pachyderm Pedalers are deep in the local bike scene, so they’re tying in Southwest MI flavor.
- Registration is free at https://www.bikereg.com/slow-roll-benton-harbor-the-west-coaster Waivers must be signed online or on-site prior to the event
Vibe to expect
Picture a rolling block party. Speakers on bikes, stops at local landmarks including the Whirlpool Campus and Jean Klock Beach, and Jason bringing the stoke for everyone. It’s like a “parade where your bike is the float.” If you’ve never done Slow Roll Detroit, this is your chance to get the experience without the 3-hour drive.
You in? It’s a solid way to see Benton Harbor, meet riders, and be part of Jason’s first Michigan Slow Roll outside of Detroit.
