Memorial Day Parade Returns to St. Joseph!
St. Joe Today invites the community to join them for the 2024 Memorial Day Parade on Friday, May 24 in downtown St. Joseph. This event is sponsored by Lest We Forget.
This yearly tradition honors those who have served and sacrificed their lives in service of our country. The parade starts at 12:00p and travels along Lake Boulevard from Park Street to Port Street in downtown St. Joseph. Immediately following the parade, there will be a short memorial ceremony held at the John E.N. Howard Bandshell.
St. Joe Today asks all veterans and any active duty military to consider joining the parade. Veterans wishing to walk or ride in the parade please call the St. Joe Today office at (269) 985 1111, or fill out a form available at stjoetoday.com/memorialdayparade.
Please note that the Lake Boulevard Resurfacing Project is scheduled to end around Memorial Day weekend. We anticipate that we’ll be able to use Lake Boulevard, but in the event that construction is still ongoing, we will move the parade route to State Street. Participants will be notified of any changes by EOD Monday, May 20.
