PROFESSIONAL HEARING SERVICES OFFERS EDUCATIONAL EVENT

FOR THOSE WITH RINGING IN THEIR EARS

Dr. Kasewurm’s Professional Hearing Services is hosting an informational event for people who suffer from tinnitus – the perception of ringing, buzzing, or whistling in their ears.  The event takes place on Wednesday, March 13 at 5:30 PM at Professional Hearing Services in St. Joseph. Doctors of Audiology, Terry McIlvaine, Grady Hilge, and Mitch Kissick will discuss the causes, symptoms, and potential relief solutions for people suffering with tinnitus.

If you are suffering from ringing in your ears, you are not alone.  An estimated 10-15% of the global population is affected by what is called tinnitus.  Tinnitus is the perception of noise or ringing in the ears. Tinnitus isn't a condition itself — it's a symptom of an underlying condition, such as hearing loss, ear injury or a circulatory system disorder.  Although tinnitus can worsen with age, for many people, it can improve with treatment.

“Tinnitus can negatively impact the overall health and wellness of an individual by causing sleep disturbances, depression, anxiety, irritability or frustration. Fortunately, this vicious cycle can be broken and relief from tinnitus can be found through various treatment options. I am so excited to share my knowledge and expertise on tinnitus at my seminar on March 13th,” said Dr. Terry McIlvaine.

Register for this informational event by emailing us at infodesk@prohear.net or by calling (269) 982-3444.
