• Movie Matinee- September 6th at 1pm: Join us for a showing of the 1960 classic “Inherit the Wind,” starring Spencer Tracey and Gene Kelly, about the Snopes “Monkey Trial” in which a teacher is arrested for teaching Darwinism. Movie is FREE- bring your own munchies.
• Anime Club For Teens- September 6th at 4pm: Teens hang out at the library to watch and discuss ANIME while enjoying Japanese snacks.
• It’s Elementary: TV Dinner Night!- September 10th at 6pm: Inspired by “National TV Dinner” night, kids in grades 1st-3rd will get to enjoy a library-provided TV dinner (or one brought from home) while watching a few fun episodes of Disney’s “Phineas and Ferb” cartoon.
• Teen LEGO Night- September 11th at 6pm: Teens in grades 9th-12th can enjoy some time with friends as they free build with LEGO and enjoy some tasty treats.
• Tweens: It’s PLAYDOH Time!- September 12th at 5pm: For kids in grades 4th-6th, squish, smash, and create with PlayDoh in this fun after-school hour event.
• Adult BAD ART NIGHT- September 17th at 6pm: If you missed Bad Art Night the first time around, here’s your chance to join us again for “Balloon Smash” painting! Come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and bring your creative energy as we attempt painting with latex-free balloons.
• If Vines Could Talk- September 25th at 6pm: Get ready to hear about the wonderful world of wine from Michigan’s own Wine Ambassador, Steve Salisbury! Join us as he relates his insightful and humorous experiences of working in vineyards across Southwest Michigan
