South Bend Record Show holds Fall vinyl fair on Oct. 12

The South Bend Record Show, one of the Midwest's largest vinyl and music expos, returns on Sunday, Oct. 12, to The Gillespie Conference Center, Hilton Garden Inn, 53995 IN 933, just north of St. Mary's College.

Thirty-six vendors from six states will occupy 100 tables to sell a variety of music-related items. Customers can explore pre-loved LPs, new vinyl releases, 45s, CDs, cassettes, posters, vintage stereo equipment, concert T-shirts, record supplies, and more.

Whether you are brand new to vinyl or a seasoned veteran, this is a can't-miss event for music fans.

"There will be some amazing music in the room that you will not see anywhere else," said South Bend resident Jeremy D. Bonfiglio, the event organizer. "Our curated roster of vendors brings quality music items for all budgets. Whether you are looking to build your collection with $5 classic titles or are looking for those rare out-of-print gems, there is always something for everyone.”

Key Highlights:

· Most music genres are represented, with a strong emphasis on classic rock, modern pop, ’80s, hard rock and metal, punk, jazz, blues, R&B, country, soundtracks, and more.

· General admission begins at 11 a.m. and costs $2. Early entry is at 9 a.m. for $7.

· Door prize drawings will be held at noon and 2 p.m. for the chance to win $25 shopping certificates and record products from BCW Supplies, the event's sponsor, based in Middletown, Indiana.

· BCW will give away free tote bags to the first 75 customers at the door. 

· Whole Hogz BBQ will be set on site.

· Attendees are encouraged to bring cash, as it is the preferred form of payment among all vendors. Select dealers may also accept credit and debit cards, PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo. There is an ATM in the hotel lobby.

· Mark your calendars: The South Bend Record Show is a bi-monthly event. The next show is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 7, at the same location.
