Tour at the Dowagiac Area History Museum

DOWAGIAC, MI – On Tuesday, May 27 from 4:30 - 6:30pm, the Heritage Museum and Cultural Center will tour the Dowagiac Area History Museum. Visitors of all ages are invited to explore the exhibits, with remarks by Director Steve Arseneau at 5:30pm.

Opened in May of 2013, the new Dowagiac Area History Museum is located at 201 E. Division Street, just off the city’s downtown district. The museum features 4,000 square feet of exhibits, highlighting the history of Dowagiac, Cass County, and Sister Lakes. Visitors are invited to viewRound Oak Stove collections, Heddon fishing lures, and learn about a Cass County Olympian, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who interviewed Hitler, Mussolini, and Gandhi, and much more. The museum’s interactive exhibits are fun for all ages-children are welcome!

Program attendees are invited to meet at the Dowagiac Area History Museum anytime between 4:30-6:30pm to view the exhibits, with remarks by Director Steve Arseneau at 5:30.
