The Twin City Players to Host Auditions for My Big Gay Italian Wedding

The Twin City Players (TCP) will hold auditions for a Second Stage production next month. Auditions for the August production of My Big Gay Italian Wedding by Anthony Wilkinson will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 14 and at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 15. Participants will be asked to participate in readings from the script. A prepared monologue and a short a cappella musical number are recommended, but not required.
My Big Gay Italian Wedding offers a variety of roles for 10 men and 6 women.In this feel-good comedy, Andrew and Anthony are getting married – and everyone wants to "help"! My Big Gay Italian Wedding spins into a hysterical fiasco as everyone tries to have their way. From a saboteur ex-boyfriend to a loud, opinionated, outspoken Italian mother, personalities and culture collide in a music and dance-filled extravaganza. Auditions on June 14 will be held at the Twin City Players Studio at 600 West Glenlord Road, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085. Auditions on June 15 will be held on the Southwest Michigan College Dowagiac campus in the Dale A. Lyons building at 58900 Cherry Grove Road, Dowagiac, Michigan 49047. Performance dates are August 14,15,16,17, 22, 23 and 24. My Big Gay Italian Wedding is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC. TCP is seeking an LGBT affiliated sponsors for this production.
