United Way Rocks The Boat Again!
MOST TEAM OUTINGS ARE FORGETTABLE. ROCK THE BOAT IS NOT.
On Thursday, July 16, United Way of Southwest Michigan is bringing back one of the most anticipated events on the Southwest Michigan calendar. This year's theme is "Goes to Summer Camp," and your team's mission is simple: build a life-size boat out of cardboard, get in it, and race it down the St. Joseph River channel at the Inn at Harbor Shores.
The build is half the fun. Your crew has to design the thing, argue over it, and figure out how to make it float before you ever hit the water. Then you race. Then someone probably sinks. It is, in a word, unforgettable.
Last year's event drew 19 teams from businesses across the region and raised more than $45,000 for programs serving neighbors right here in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties. Every dollar stays local.
If you're looking for a summer team experience that actually means something, this is it!
Team registration is $325. Boat registration closes July 5.
