Andrew M. Weisser Obituary
Andrew M. “Andy” Weisser, 44, of St. Joseph, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at his home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 18, at 12 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Martin Measel officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be donated to help continue support for the future of Andy’s three sons; checks may be payable to Sibyl Kish. Andy was born on November 15, 1981, in Berrien Springs to Alois and Leni (Drexler) Weisser. A 2000 graduate of Lakeshore High School, he continued his education at Full Sail University in Florida, earning an associate’s degree. After graduating, he returned to Michigan and founded Weisser Customs, where he devoted his talent and craftsmanship to creating beautiful renovations for homes and businesses.
Andy later began a family with Beth Tollas, and together they welcomed three sons: Maxim, Axel, and Jaxon. They treasured time spent camping on an island in Mount Pleasant and sharing their love of music at metal and punk concerts. Andy also loved the open road on his motorcycle and any chance to be outdoors. Beth preceded Andy in death in 2016.
In time, Andy reconnected with a high school friend, Emily Rudman, and they married in 2020. Emily preceded him in death in 2022.
Above all, Andy loved being with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his creativity, his dedication to his work, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.
Andy is survived by his mom, Leni Weisser; sons, Maxim, Axel, and Jaxon Weisser; stepdaughter, Liliya “LP” Wright; siblings, Sibyl Kish, Tom (Jamie) Weisser and Peter (Mary) Weisser; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Alois Weisser; significant other and mother of his children, Beth Tollas; wife, Emily Rudman Weisser; and brother-in-law, Bob Kish.
