Margie married Edward Nozicka on June 14, 1975, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Benton Harbor, MI. She and her husband had 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Margie worked for The Copy Center out of St. Joseph, Michigan for a number of years before retiring in 1997 and was awarded honors during her employment.
During their retirement she and her husband enjoyed 16 years of wintering in Florida. They were sad when they suspended the trips, no longer able to visit with friends and relatives there year after year.
Margie enjoyed her children and grandchildren and always tried to help all when possible. She enjoyed oil painting and collected angels and bells and other things as a hobby. She loved playing golf with her husband trying to catch her husband with six hole-in-ones. Aside from watching “Touched by An Angel” on tv she often read her bible for inspiration. She liked to watch birds, and her growing flower garden.
She was an excellent loving wife contributing in all ways to make a very enjoyable lifetime for her and her husband. He often said she should write a book on being a perfect guide for a happy healthy marriage.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents, sister Pauline Scroggings and grandson Christopher Schoenfelt. She is survived by her daughters; Sherry (Kelly) Gilmore, Paula (Michael) Ristau, Teri Dickson, step children Colleen (Nozicka) Gunkel, Christopher (Cheryl) Nozicka and half-brother Danny Moody.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Masses can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or place her on your prayer list.
Margie has always shown hospitality and enjoyed people. She will be missed by all who knew her. We know she will find peace in being with her Father in the Kingdom of God in the House of the Lord, In Jesus name.
