Shirley Sturgeon Obituary

Shirley Sturgeon, 92, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Shirley loved her family, dancing, shopping, traveling and living in the villages in Florida. She also enjoyed her glass of wine and a delicious dinner cooked for her by her son-in-law Gregg.

Shirley is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law’s Kim (Gregg) Blanchard and Tammie (Jay) Godfrey; grandchildren Brock & Taylor Blanchard, Jade & Nate Smith, Gage D’Agostino, Stacey Yeske  and Tracey & Jeff Browne; great grandchildren Avery, Maddox, Charlotte, Marshall, Oliver, and Spencer Blanchard; sister Lynda Doyle & Carole (Martin) Albrighton of England; and sister-in-law Hilda Doyle.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Edward Hendren; second husband Frank Sturgeon; granddaughter Beth Blanchard; brother Max Doyle and son-in-law Durwood D’Agostino.
